Please also note, that swimming prior to the event in the Grimwith Reservoir is not permitted, due to safety reasons.

We're pretty proud of the course we've put together and we're sure you're going to love it. Incorporating some of the sections in Tour de Yorkshire, Tour De France and UCI courses into our very own sportive course.  You can expect stunning scenery, fully loaded feed stations, the odd sheep or two, and plenty of supporters to cheer you on as you wind your way through the stunning Yorkshire Dales.

Yorkshire Dales Marathon

We're pretty proud of the course we've put together and we're sure you're going to love it. But what else would you expect from 26.2 miles set in a world-renowned National Park? You can expect stunning scenery, fully loaded feed stations, the odd sheep or two, and plenty of supporters to cheer you on as you wind your way through the stunning Yorkshire Dales.

The course will be on fully closed roads and will end with our famous red carpet finish.

We are passionate about working with the community and will be discussing the closures in more detail with them, prior to the release of the final route.  So stay tuned.

Yorkshire Dales Half Marathon
