Moonglu is an independent bike shop based in Ripon, North Yorkshire.
Located close to Harrogate, Knaresborough, Thirsk and Pateley Bridge we are ideally placed to service the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors.
We are a friendly local bike shop, stocking a range of road, mountain and electric bikes from Giant and their sister brand Liv. You will find an extensive range of bike parts and cycle accessories from brands such as Hope Technology, Continental, Vittoria and Pirelli tyres, Muc-Off and Shimano components to name a few. Sports nutrition is covered by UK brands Torq and OTE Sports with a range of gels, bars and energy drinks from both, all with natural and ethically sourced ingredients.
The majority of our bikes are available with 0% Finance and some are eligible for purchase under the Cycle to Work Scheme. We work with leading C2W providers such as Cyclescheme, Gogeta and Green Commute Initiative.
With over 20 years’ experience, we run a busy bike service and repair workshop. We are able to work on any brand of bike and offer a wide range of service and repair options from a puncture repair right up to full service and parts replacement. Owner Neil has built a reputation as a specialist in hand-built wheels and the shop have also been long-time custom build experts, working with brands such as Genesis and Reilly titanium.
Attached to the shop and sharing the same name is a 200-member-strong cycling club. Moonglu Cycling Club evolved from a few mates riding on a Thursday night to a British Cycling registered club supporting rides in multiple disciplines. Road, off-road and gravel rides go out on a weekly basis and the shop has become the community hub for the club activities.

We’re the home of real Yorkshire ice cream, handmade with love here on our farm at High Jervaulx near Masham. We use local milk and cream from cows grazing the Dales all around us to create our award-winning Yorkshire ice cream. Come and visit our ice cream parlour, where you’ll find fun for all the family including play areas, a gift shop and even a dedicated doggy exercise field!
